The person who wants to introduce the Jeju operas into the world, Ms. Neunghee Oh graduated from Jeju National University with her Bachelor's degree. She continued and received her Master's degree in Italy in advanced opera studying. Then she also continued and completed her Doctor's degree in Germany and Austria. She established the Jeju Opera Laboratory for cultural settlement on Jeju Island in May 2015.
Even there are many efforts for the provincial cultural settlement though, there are not many stages for the artists in Jeju. Nevertheless, Ms. Neunghee Oh tries to develop the opera fields for the young artists in Jeju. Also, she makes an effort for the culture and art system.
