Biography
Feng Zhengjie is a master of contemporary Chinese art. He was born in Sichuan Province, China, and earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees from the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. He came to global attention in 2006 when he was featured on the cover of ''ArtNews'' in the United States. In January 2008, he held a solo exhibition at the Singapore Art Museum, which elevated him to the ranks of internationally renowned artists.
His works depict "modern Chinese women" using primary colors such as red, yellow, and green, inspired by traditional Chinese color palettes, and have been highly acclaimed worldwide. He has held solo exhibitions in Switzerland, the United States, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, and other countries. He currently maintains studios not only in China, Singapore, and Thailand but also in the Jeoji Artist Village in Jeju, South Korea, where he is recognized as a globally active "Jeju-based resident artist."
