Yeeun Shin is pursuing a Master’s at Seoul National University Graduate School of International Studies. Having lived 6 years in the United States and achieving a Bachelor’s Degree from Ewha Womans University for International Studies, Yeeun Shin is not only familiar with global trends on national security and alliances but also used her academic knowledge in her main career path: journalism. Yeeun is also a native speaker of both English and Korean, as can be seen in her Professional Interpretation and Translation certificates.
Yeeun has worked as a broadcast journalist for prominent domestic and global broadcast channels, including Yonhap News Agency, Traffic Broadcasting Services (TBS), Samsung Electronics Newsroom, Asian American News (AsAm News), and Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS). Thanks to her advanced linguistic skills and fervent passion for researching newsworthy topics, Yeeun has taken on various roles, such as News Writer, YouTube Creator, Assistant Producer, live radio reporter, Documentary Translator, and Researcher.
