Born in Cheonan in 1945, Chairman Jong-Ok Lee earned her master's degree in social welfare at the Graduate School of Urban Science at the University of Seoul and served as the head of the Life Line Korea “Agape`s House”. She published her papers "The Love Motivation Study in the GeumOh Mythology" and "The Study on the Effect of Participation in the Elderly Welfare Center Program on the Elderly's Life Satisfaction," and is interested in ways to utilize volunteer work in Korea. Since 1978, she has been working as a telephone counselor for Life Line Korea, a social welfare corporation, and has been helping people in pain and crisis through more than 5,000 hours of telephone counseling. Currently, she is working as a managing director of the Seoul branch of Life Line Korea, a social welfare corporation, and chairman of the Agape Welfare Trust.
