HEO Yoon is the Dean of the Graduate School of International Studies, at Sogang University, Korea. Currently, Professor Heo also serves as the Director of Sogang Global Trade Institute. He has been a policy consultant for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, and the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Korea on international issues including trade negotiations. From 2014 to 2016, he was a member of the National Economic Advisory Council for the President of Korea. For the spring semester of 2014, he stayed in Washington D.C. as a Fulbright Senior Scholar at the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. In 2010, He taught at Thainguyen University of Vietnam as a Distinguished Professor of Int'l Trade. Professor Heo is a trade economist trained at the George Washington University (Ph.D. in Economics), University of Utah (M.S. in Economics), and Seoul National University (B.A. in Economics).
