
Biography
Dr. Sang Kyou KIM is a research professor at the Institute of Chinese Studies at Hanyang University in South Korea, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Chinese Literature and Language and a master’s degree in International Studies. Having obtained his PhD degree in International Relations from Tsinghua University in China, much of his research is devoted to international relations in Northeast Asia and China’s foreign and regional policy. He wrote “A Study on Crisis and Cooperation between Korea, China, Japan: Focusing on the issue of non-traditional Security Areas (2018),” and recently co-authored “A Study on the Networking Strategies of Modern Chinese Diplomacy: Focusing on collective power, positional power, and programming power (2019).”
