
Biography
Yeonhee Park has been working in the field of Sustainable development based on partnerships between local governments and stakeholders for local sustainability since 2001. Since joining ICLEI Korea Office as the Director in 2012, she has been making efforts to accelerate local actions toward global sustainability by introducing global initiatives and tools on sustainable urban development to South Korea focusing on Climate change, biodiversity, and ecomobility.
She also serves as a policy committee member of the Ministry of Environment, provincial and local governments, and the international cooperation committee at the Korea Climate Environment Conference while supporting national & local collaboration. By successfully delivering a range of international conferences & events with quality supervision, she has been striving to highlight the critical roles of local governments and delivering the voices of local governments to the global negotiation table for sustainable development.
