Byungwon Woo is an associate professor at the Department of Political Science and International Studies at Yonsei University. At Yonsei University, he serves as the Deputy Director at the Institute of State Governance Studies and as the Director of the Leadership Center, the Institute of East and West Studies. Before his current academic position, he was a professor at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and at Oakland University, MI, USA. He received his Ph.D. in political science from the Ohio State University in 2010. His main research interests include international relations, international organization, and international political economy and he has authored many articles on the political economy of international organizations and the international politics of economic incentives that appeared at American Journal of Political Science, International Studies Quarterly, Habitat International, Political Studies, International Interactions, Political Science Research & Methods, Journal of Human Rights, Economics of Governance, Economics & Politics, etc.
