Young-Hyun Choi strove for training health and welfare related human resources serving as a director in Korea Human Resource Development Institute for Health and Welfare from 2016 to 2018. He endeavored to establish national health and welfare policies, serving in various important posts in the Ministry of Health and Welfare(MOHW) after going into public office since 1986. He was awarded both the Order of Service Merit and the Service Merit Medal, getting credit for multiple achievements. After finalizing government service life as a director of office for planning and coordination in MOHW, he currently contributes to progressing health and welfare services both in the Korea National University of Welfare and Jeju Research Institute.
