Kim Hong Kyun is a former Special Representative for Korean Peninsula Peace and Security Issues and Head of Delegation to Six-Party Talks of the Republic of Korea. He previously served as Deputy Minister for Political Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Senior Secretary to the President for Coordination of Foreign and Security Policies at the Blue House. He was Minister Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the European and assumed various positions in other Korean embassies to the countries including the US, Switzerland and Thailand.
