Dr. Young Sin Jeong obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Sociology at SNU in 2012, and specialized in peace studies and environmental sociology. He has been a member of senior researcher at the Social Science Korea Research Center of Jeju National University since 2012. He has published over 20 journal and conference papers, co-authored Island of Commons, JEJU 1 and 2(JinInJin, 2016), translated Okinawan Modern History (Nonhyoung, 2008), Okinawa Resistant Island (Changbi, 2014), The Challenge of the Commons Theory (KyoungIn, 2014), and Contemporary Theory of Collective Ownership (JinInJin, 2016).
