Dr. Jin is currently the head of the information security research division at ETRI (Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute) in Korea, leading Information Security R&D for the public and private sectors. Dr. Jin developed a communication system at Samsung Electronics until 1999 and has been researching and developing information security technologies at ETRI since 1999 to date, including the development of various core technologies such as cryptography, authentication, and intelligent cyber threat response, and transferring developed technologies to many private and public organizations. In addition, he is also a professor of information security engineering at the University of Science and Technology (UST), and is making an effort to train human resources specialized in information security.
