Dr. Jung has been working for the Korea Aerospace Research Institute since October 2009, being in charge of space law and policy. Since 2010, he has been appointed a member and legal adviser of the Korean delegation to the UN COPUOS Legal Subcommittee. He was a representative of the Korean government for the 3rd and 4th sessions of the UNIDROIT Committee of governmental experts for the preparation of a draft Space Protocol and legal adviser of the Korean delegation to a diplomatic conference to adopt the draft Space Protocol. Dr. Jung has been a member of the Korean delegation to many international governmental organizations such as the OECD, ITU, MTCR, etc. Especially, he has participated in the Open-Ended Consultations and Multilateral Negotiations of the Draft International Code of Conduct for outer space activities and UN GGE on the Prevention of an Arms Race in Outer Space. Dr. Jung has been publishing many articles and books on international aerospace law, space security, and so on. Dr. Jung obtained his degree of Doctorate in International Law from Université Paris-Sud 11, France.
