Hyun Seo, a professor at the Department of Architecture, Seoul National University, graduated from Seoul National University and the Graduate School of Architecture, Columbia University, USA. He has written numerous well-known books on architecture such as 「Introduction to Architecture(1998)」, 「The Story of Korean Streets(1999)」, 「Inquiring Architecture(2009)」, 「Creation and Evolution of Traditional East Asian Architecture(2012)」, 「A Red City(2014)」, and 「Building a Triangular House(2016)」
