Kang Ja Kang is currently a co-chair of the Civil Society Organizations, a permanent organization established by an alliance of more than 340 Korean domestic NGOs. Since February 2019, she has been co-chairing the Special Committee on Hatred & Discrimination of NHRCK. After she graduated from Ewha Womans University, she has worked on for protection and promotion of human rights as a co-chair of Korea Women Link, a member of the Committee on the Elimination of Gender Discrimination, Minimum Wage Commission, a Commissioner of NHRCK, as well as a visiting professor of Inha University Law School. While working as a Standing Commissioner of NHRCK, she put great effort into reducing discrimination based on disability, gender, sexual orientation, and ethnicity.
