Seo, Wang-Jin is President of The Seoul Institute, a think tank established by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. He served as a chip secretary and policy advisor for the Mayor of Seoul during 2011-2017. He also served as a Research Professor at the Center for International Studies, Seoul National University, Korea. He is the former Secretary General of the Citizens’ Movement for Environmental Justice (CMEJ), an environmental activist group located in Seoul, Korea, and Director of the Institute for Environmental Justice, an affiliated organization of the CMEJ. He got a Ph. D Degree in Energy and Environmental Policy at the University of Delaware, US.
