Dong-Joon Jo has been a Professor at the Department of Political Science and International Relations, Seoul National University, since 2010. His research interests lie in international organizations, interstate conflict, and nuclear proliferation. He has served as an Associate Director for the Institute for Peace and Unification Studies at Seoul National University (2016-2018) and as a faculty member of the Department of International Relations at the University of Seoul (2005-2010). He received his doctorate degree from the Department of Political Science, Pennsylvania State University, in 2003.
