					International competition involves not only resources but also culture and philosophy in both the East and the West. The management strategy of successful companies is based on the structural system of management. However, their success is also acquired through the intuition and entrepreneurship of the business leaders. Intuition and entrepreneurship are based on the personal philosophy, worldview, and value system of an individual businessman. Asian businessmen make decisions under the influence of Asia’s long history, culture, and philosophy. The major pillars of Asian philosophy - Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism - can provide Western businessmen with a tool to forecast the future. This session will discuss sustainable management in the future as a valuable resource that Asian leaders can seek out in the treasure house of oriental culture and philosophy.
