The session promotes discussion on the regional integration process, bringing together
eminent scholars from China, Japan, Korea, and the United States, to examine old and new
patterns of regional integration in northeast Asia and discuss key issues (including history)
affecting the prospects of reconciliation and integration in northeast Asia.
