The European is facing a financial crisis, Japan is going through an economic recession following the tsunami of 2011, and the United States, while still powerful, is not on solid financial ground. China, “the world’s factory” for decades, is being compelled to change its role to that of “the world’s consumer.” Japan is working diligently to return to its pre-tsunami economic status, and Korea is currently facing new changes and challenges in virtually all economic and political aspects.
