					Facing the global financial crisis, advanced countries as well as developing countries have sought a way of coexistence through a new international convention, the G20. As a model case of overcoming the financial crisis, South Korea successfully carried out the host role for the G20 last year. It is time to evaluate the achievements and limitations of the G20 system and to discuss a new direction for the international financial order. The Korean community has to consider its future role in this new international financial order.
