City management, one of the three main decisive factors in global competition, together with states and firms, is an important economic issue that many countries cannot avoid. For successful city development, an effective strategy and efficient marketing tools are needed. Issues such as social conflicts in the process of urbanization, the redevelopment of inner cities, the construction of new cities, the creation of diverse city management systems, and green ubiquitous cities are challenging the existing modes of city management. This session will discuss city management know-how in the face of new environmental changes for city managers.
