					After reviewing the risk posed by climate change and natural disaster as a matter of fact, the session will evaluate the rescue system and response mechanism. It will also discuss the impact of and response to the earthquake in Japan. It will also discuss the emergency response team organized by NEMA (the National Emergency Management Agency) immediately after the earthquake in Japan.
- Is it necessary to make an earthquake-resistant design mandatory for all new buildings?
- What is the government’s response to concerns about the earthquake, the tsunami, and the resulting radioactivity?
- Koreans’‘insensitivity’to safety and their awareness of the risk of ss to natural disasters.
- A guideline for coping with various types of natural disasters, including nuclear accidents, earthquakes, and tsunamis.
- The cooperation mechanism for rescue agencies in a disaster situation, the civilian response, and the public communication and response system.
