Our survival depends on air, water, and food provided by the Earth. However, human-triggered climate change has increased the global environmental risks. Accordingly, the relative risk of climate change is a critical factor in determining society’s sustainability. In addition, new opportunities may be generated in the course of responding to the risks of climate change. Therefore, we intend to discuss the causes and prospects of climate change, the risk levels to the Earth, and opportunities for our industries.
