Zaw Moe Aung was born on November 4, 1974 and participated in the Myanmar Democratic Movement on August 8, 1988. I entered Korea as an industrial trainee in August 1994.
We joined the National League for Democracy (Liberated Area) Korea Branch, which was first established in Korea in 1999, and held meetings, briefing sessions, and debates at the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, civic groups, human rights movement groups, non-governmental organizations, and universities on the democratization of Burma.
The National Democratic Alliance (NLD) is a political party in Myanmar that has won more than 80% of the elections on May 27, 1990. NLD members and democratic activists were tortured, assaulted, and imprisoned by the military without transferring power from the Myanmar military.
Around 2012, I quit the National League for Democracy (Liberated Area) Korea Branch.
During the democratization of Myanmar, I also translated and translated Myanmar migrant workers in Korea. Even now, we are actively engaged in activities, support, and fundraising for Myanmar.
